Atlanta Hawks vs Brooklyn Nets Preview, Live Stream Link: How to Watch NBA Game Online
The Atlanta Hawks have continued their incredible run from the regular season into two games in their first round matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Not only have they brought their impressive unselfishness along with them, they also tagged along their domination of the Nets from the regular season. The Hawks swept the Nets in the regular season, winning all four games, and their win in Game 2, stretched their run against the Nets to six coming into Game 3.
What the Nets can hang their heads on as they go home is the fact that they've put up a fight in both games they've lost in the series. They lost the four regular season games to the Hawks by an average of 17 points per game, but they've been a much tougher out in the postseason.
Big man Brook Lopez continues his stellar play from late in the season averaging a double-double with 18 points, and 10.5 rebounds in the two games, and he will have to carry on having his way against the smaller Atlanta frontcourt if the Nets are to have any chance.
Joe Johnson has also been solid norming 18 points, and 7.5 rebounds, but the Nets desperately need to get more from their other wing players, most notably Deron Williams, and Bojan Bogdanovic. Both players struggled mightily in Game 2, with Williams managing just two points on 1-7 shooting, and Bogdanovic faired slightly better with eight points.
The Hawks should be favored coming into Game 3 well rested, and could even pull-off the sweep in Brooklyn. Al Horford, who was a game time decision before Game 2 with a dislocated right pinky, will have a good few days rest before Game 3, and Kyle Korver has been aflame so far leading the Hawks in scoring with 19 points per.
The game tips-off at 3:00 pm ET, you can catch the action via live stream here.
