Asus ZenWatch 3 Release Date, Specs, Price, Pre-order News: Wearble To Arrive Next Month
Details on the release date, features, and price of Asus' ZenWatch 3 have surfaced and as per reports, the wearable is set to arrive next month.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 is bound to come out in November, Wearable has learned. As per the publication, the tech company expects that the forthcoming watch, which is characterized by a jewellery-grade 316 stainless steel and diamond cut bezel, will be at par with those under Huawei, LG, and Motorola.
As per the report, the wearable's features have improved, as evidenced by the straps and the watch set, having an Italian leather or highly durable rubber band of dark brown or beige hues. Also, the watch is set to be available in three colors - gunmetal, silver, and rose gold.
The ZenWatch 3 is is resistant to water, which means that its wearer does not have worry about splashes. However, the resistance is limited to up to one meter and 30 minutes, as per GSM Arena.
In terms of display, the watch is set to feature a 1.39-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, 400 by 400 pixels, and multitouch features. It runs Android Wear 2.0 as its operating system, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 Chipset, Quad-core CPU, and 4 GB and 512 MB of RAM.
Asus' ZenWatch 3 also covers features like accelerometer sensors, SMS, e-mail, and IM. While it does not support Java, its non-removable Li-Ion 341 mAh battery can be charged to 60 percent in only 15 minutes.
Expected to be out in early November, the Asus wearable can be pre-ordered at $229.
