Asus Zenfone 2 vs iPhone 6 Plus Comparison: Specs, Features, Price - Which Device is Better?

The two new phones on the market, Asus Zenfone 2 and the iPhone 6 Plus continute to battle it out, as they try to impress buyers with their features and specifications.

The Asus Zenfone 2 has an operating system, Android (5.0) Zen UI, the iPhone 6 Plus uses iOS (8.x). While the Zen has an Inpsetel Atom Z3580 chipset powered with a Quad-core 2.3 GHz CPU or the PowerVR G6430 GPU, accordingly, the iPhone 6 Plus uses the Apple A8 chipset, a dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone CPU.

The memory department, the Zenfone 2 offers more compared to the iPhone 6 Plus. Zenfone 2 comes with either 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM while the iPhone 6 Plus only has 1 GB of RAM.

The Zenfone comes with a 5.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 403 pixels per inch while apple offers a .5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 401 pixels per inch along with a touch ID fingerprint sensor, in its latest gadget. Both the phones use the IPS LCD display.

The iPhone 6 Plus has its regular aluminium body while the Asus Zenfone has a brushed metal body and a curved back that tapers down to thin edges.

Unlike Apple's product, Asus' product has a slot which supports up to 64 GB of external memory.

Coming to the deal breaker, the price, the 16GB iPhone 6 Plus is priced at $299 with a two-year contract. As for the Zenfone 2, its 2 GB RAM version will be priced at $199 without a contract, according to Engadget.
