‘Assassin's Creed Victory’ Rumors: Next 'AC' Game to Launch in December, Announcement in June at E3? [VIDEO]

Citing the pre-order page on Swedish retailer Webbhallen's site, Ecumenical News reports that yet another game of the award-winning video game series will be released later in 2015. According to the report, the website mentions that the new game 'Assassin's Creed Victory' is slated for release on Dec. 31, 2015 - approximately a year after the release of last game of the series, 'Assassin's Creed Unity'.

Latin Post reports that rumors about the next 'Assassin's Creed' appeared in December when some images were leaked online. At that time, Ubisoft confirmed it was developing 'Assassin's Creed Victory' as the next game in the 'Assassin's Creed' series.

The mention of the game's release date in Webbhallen's website notwithstanding, fans will have to wait for a few months before Ubisoft officially announces the game. Ubisoft is expected to announce the game officially at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles in June.

PC Advisor reports that 'Assassin's Creed Victory will be set during the Victorian era in London, while the game took takes place in Paris during the French Revolution In 'Assaassin's Creed Unity'. In the upcoming 'Assassin's Creed Victory', gamers will be introduced to a new assassin. In fact, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will be improving.

When the leaks related to 'Assassin's Creed Victory' appeared online in December 2014, Ubisoft was disappointed. The game developer issued a statement then saying, "It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked."

Ubisoft had further stated, "And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we're disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public."

From what it appears, 'Assassin's Creed' will be an extremely prolonged series with more titles coming in future years. According to Darby McDevitta, the writer of the series, they have sufficient content to keep the game going for no less than another 10 years.

McDevitta said, "We've created 500, 600, 700 years worth of history that we hope to start teasing out for the next 10, 20 years or however long we're around. I particularly love the lore. I've been working the past two years, with all the other writers, on getting a great document together on the First Civilization."
