'Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection' Release Date: Korean Rating Board Confirms Title For PS4, Xbox One?

New details on Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" recently surfaced, suggesting that the title is set to be launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Ubisoft's title is set to arrive to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to South Korean game rating board website Grac, as reported by NeoGAF forum user catmario. Catmario hopes that Ubisoft will announce the details in the near future, which means that the studio has not yet given any statement with regards to the title's release on the aforementioned gaming consoles.

"Assassinate me if old," catmario joked.

Other forum users reacted to catmario's post. A user called Monocle pledged to buy the title, saying "Ezio's games are ace." User SlipperyFishes said Ubisoft just had a press event in the United States, hinting that anything was possible.

"Assassin's Creed" fans are well aware that a live action film based on the games is due for release soon, starring "X-Men's" Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch. In line with this, Ubisoft did some giveaways at Gamescom 2016.

On Aug. 18, the studio wrote on Twitter that they were giving away a UbiGamescom-exclusive Assassin's Creed print at its booth, adding that only a hundred were printed. Another promo took place afterwards, in which the first person to find a community team representative and say UbiGamescom won an Ezio Leap of Faith statue.

Directed by Justin Kurzel, the "Assassin's Creed" film follows Lynch as he explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar and becomes a Master Assassin. Along with Fassbender, the film also stars Brendan Gleeson, Jeremy Irons, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Marion Cotillard, among others.

Kurzel's "Assassin's Creed" movie is slated for release on Dec. 21.
