'Assassin's Creed 3' Free On PC: Promo Limited Time Offer; Create Account on Uplay to Download Game

The "Assassin's Creed 3" is free on PC but unfortunately, this promo is on a limited time offer.

Ubisoft is offfering the "Assassin's Creed 3" for free on PC as part of its 30th anniversary celebration.

This would be the last game that the studio will be offering for free. The promo started in June this year with "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time." The titles that have been given away so far included "Splinter Cell" back in July; "Rayman Origins" in August; "The Crew" in September; "Beyond Good & Evil" in October, and "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" last month.

Kotaku described "Assassin's Creed 3" as "one of the best video games of the year, one of the most daring developed by a major studio this generation."

Gamespot, meanwhile, said that the game elevated the Parkour-based mechanics of the franchise by putting the player "into the wild frontier and allowing you to climb trees and leap among the branches."

In terms of gameplay, however, the "Assassin's Creed 3" could not match up to its predecessor, but fans appreciated that the game introduced a change in scenery-this time putting the protagonist right smack in the American revolution.
