It's only a matter of time before another bundle of joy for married couple Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross arrives and it is just the perfect time to have a baby shower. The two have celebrated the anticipation of their first baby together last Sunday with a grand baby shower.

It seemed like Simpson and Ross had the time of their lives celebrating as they are soon to be parents. Ross apparently had a boys' day out celebrating a great afternoon with his guy friends at the Beverly Hills Hotel while the pregnant Simpson had a pampering day with her sister Jessica Simpson then her grand baby shower.

Ross shared a snapshot of his Sunday afternoon with his guy friends lounging by the pool posting the photo on his Instagram with a caption, "loving life. I have baby on the way. We close. God is good," he wrote. "Nice day at the bev hills hotel. Got my homies out," he added.

A source from E! News even shared a tidbit of insider information saying, "The guys got a cabana and hung out for a few hours during the afternoon. They ordered food and got some sun," the source said.

What a nice way to celebrate the anticipation of a new baby. Meanwhile, back in the girls' island, Ashlee, the mom to be for the second time around, already having a son named Bronx, was lavished by gifts at her baby shower hosted by her sister Jessica at her home.

"Ashlee got lots of presents and that she had fun opening them with everyone," the source continued of the expectant mom's "beautiful" and "relaxed" evening. The celebration seemed to be a great one as Jessica even posted a photo on her social media of the table setting looking very fancy and chic.

There were gold and white plates, gold spoons and forks as well as pink flowers on every side of the plate as well as some blue-colored glasses that definitely played up the colors of the table. The table seemed to be a wood-type that added even more drama.
