Arsenal will face Galatasaray on December 9 at the Türk Telekom Arena in Sar?yer, Istanbul, Turkey.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger expressed his thoughts regarding not playing Alexis Sanchez in the upcoming road game versus the Turkish side.

"At the moment he looks like at some stage I have to give him a breather. I did it with many players before who were... playing every game. I did it with [Thierry] Henry, with [Robin] van Persie and it always helped them to get through without being injured," said Wenger to reporters.

"You have to know when to rest him and when not but I think at the moment he plays at his peak on the edge. He will not go to Turkey."

Arsenal previously defeated Borussia Dortmund by a final score of 2-0 on November 26, now they are looking to continue their winning ways when they encounter Galatasaray on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray skipper Hamza Hamzao?lu hopes to successfully defend their home field when they hosts Arsenal, after they previously lost to Anderlecht by a final score of 2-0 (on November 27).

"In one week it is not possible to change many things, but above all our players are making sacrifices and they are beginning to play together. Previously they were only doing a single thing but could not do it together. Now it is a different picture," said Hamzao?lu to reporters.

"For me to win the love of Galatasaray fans, it will be very, very important. I thank them all, we are doing good work on the pitch and we are trying to enjoy it."
