‘Arrow’ vs ‘The Flash’ Crossover Episode Spoilers: Official Synopsis, Teaser Pics, Promotional Video

Fans of 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' will be excited to learn that The CW has just released the official synopsis, a batch of teaser photos, and the first promotional clip for the upcoming special crossover episode that's set to air in December.

The CW previously announced that they were working on a two-part crossover episode for 'Arrow' and 'The Flash', which will be featured in the eighth episodes of both series come December. On that note, some details about the upcoming episodes have been released.

The first half of the crossover episode, titled "Flash vs. Arrow," will air on Dec. 2 as the eighth episode of 'The Flash', and The CW has released its first batch of teaser photos for the episode, according to IGN. In the photos, Oliver, Felicity, and Diggle can be seen arriving at Central City where they encounter Barry and his own team.

Moving along into the 'Arrow' side of things, the promo clip for that episode has already been released. The second half of the crossover, titled "The Brave and the Bold," will follow the day after the aforementioned episode and will premiere as the eighth episode of 'Arrow'. In the clip, Oliver and Barry seem to be fighting each other instead of working together against a common enemy.

The official synopsis for the two-part special has been released by The CW:

"Barry (Grant Gustin) is thrilled when Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell), Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he'd like to help him stop Ray Bivolo, the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks."

It goes on to add, "Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn't go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone."

Ending with, "However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is furious when Eddie (Rick Cosnett) tries to get a task force to stop The Flash; Joe and Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry; and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Labs."

"Flash vs. Arrow," will premiere on Dec. 2, and will be followed by "The Brave and the Bold" on Dec. 3. Both series crossover episodes will air at 8 pm on The CW.
