'Arrow' & 'The Flash' Spinoff Series News: Producer Claims Hypes Up New CW Crossover Show
The CW has never displayed as much confidence in the series as they currently are in the unnamed 'Arrow/Flash' spinoff series.
Though the producers have been very good with keeping the details under wraps, it's almost been weekly that they've revealed casting information and characters set to feature on the show.
At last week's WonderCon, IGN had the opportunity to catch up with showrunner Andrew Kreisberg to speak on the upcoming series.
While he was still very tightlipped on the details he did reveal his thoughts on the series. He states:
"I can tell you that it's going to be cool. It's going to be really cool. Our plan for it is that it's like the crossover [episodes between Arrow and The Flash] every week. On both Arrow and The Flash there are teams in the sense that there is Team Arrow and Team Flash, but to have a team fully comprised of heroes and villains is going to be pretty epic."
Actor Carlos Valdes also chimed in to cosign on what he's heard about the series. He currently plays Cisco on 'The Flash,' and isn't believed to play a role on the spin-off.
Valdes comments:
"The things I've heard, it's going to be amazing. And my buddy Arthur Darvill just got cast in it. It's going to be unstoppable. It's going to be unstoppable. I'm going to say that for the record. Yep, there you go."
As it stands, there is currently no premiere date on the spin-off series.
