'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Constantine to Return Briefly for Sara’s Resurrection

'Arrow' executive producer Wendy Mericle recently revealed that John Constantine will be returning to the fourth season of The CW television series, at least for one episode. According to Mericle, Constantine will make an appearance in the episode which will eventually see Sara Lance's resurrection.

According to Christian Today, Nerucke told IGN, "It was born more out of the storyline for Sara Lance. We needed someone to come in and help bring her back. He felt like the most exciting possibility and we're just thrilled to get him. He brings such a different element to the show."

In fact, Constantine will be appearing in 'Arrow' Season 4 precisely in the same way he was in his own show. While the small screen universes of Oliver Queen and Constantine are going to be merged in the show, the show runner has not promised any additional appearances by Constantine, since he has been included in Season 4 more due to necessity.

Meanwhile, TV Line reports that Sara's resurrection is something that her family actually does not require at the moment, as they are aware that Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is just learning to get going from his daughter's death.

In an interview with TV Line, Blackthome said, "Thanks to Laurel helping him see the light at the end of last season, Lance is back on the wagon for now, trying to keep on the straight and narrow." The actor further quoted as saying, "But that will of course be tested when Sara comes back from the dead. Because I think when your daughter's coming back from the dead, she may not necessarily come back as quite the same person. Yeah, that's going to be an issue for the family to deal with."

In the meantime, The CW recently unveiled Oliver's new lair, which as space for Felicity to do her tech magic, Oliver to work out, and also a garage. As the 'Arrow' Season 4 progresses, fans will perhaps discover more space.

'Arrow' season 4 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 7.
