'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Felicity Paralyzed Hit By Damien Darhk's Ghosts, Oliver Training Laurel, Diggle
Along with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and John Diggle's (David Ramsey) training with Oliver (Stephen Amell), Felicity's (Emily Bett Richards) condition and Roy's (Colton Haynes) return to Star City are set to be the highlights of "Arrow" season 4.
In "Arrow's" midseason premiere last week, it was seen that Felicity went into a paralyzed state after being hit by Damien Darhk's (Neal McDonough) ghosts, after Oliver's limo was fired at the conclusion of the fall episode finale.
"Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle shared her insights on how the Green Arrow's team would deal with the paralysis issue. In her interview with Entertainment Weekly, Mericle said that Felicity was really grappling with the question of getting through the tragic event and figuring out what her life was going to look like afterward.
According to Mericle, Felicity knew that Oliver had a tendency to revert to his darker ways; however, she was still in a state of shock about what had happened and her focus was going to be mostly and interestingly, Oliver and trying to keep him from falling back into the dark hole he had been in the past.
In other news, The CW has revealed a new set of photos for the next episode of "Arrow" season 4. Entitled "A.W.O.L.," the episode is set to see Oliver training Laurel and Diggle. There is also a photo of Andy Diggle (Eugene Byrd), John's brother, as well as Amanda Waller. According to We Got This Covered, Andy was under Waller's care and A.R.G.U.S., instead of the Green Arrow and his team.
"Arrow" season 4 is also set to see John learn to trust his brother Andy when a foe of their wartime past, an agent of the criminal group Shadowspire, visits Star City. The next episode will also see Oliver adapt a new way of life.
"Arrow" season 4 is set to premiere on Jan. 27 on The CW.
