'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers, Cast News: Stephen Amell Teases Premiere Episode 'Something New' [VIDEO]

Stephen Amell has recently teased that the 'Arrow' Season 4 premiere will have something new for the viewers, which was never seen on the series before. Apparently, this secret "something" is expected to set the tone for the remaining season.

While fans are wondering what this "something" could be, Amell told the audience during the 'Arrow' panel at the DraganCon 2015 that the premiere episode of the show's Season 4 will have a major impact on the manner in which the plot unfolds in the upcoming installment of the DC Comics based series, reports ComicBook.

Explaining his view, Amell said, "The fundamental part of the season, that nobody is really going to understand until they see the premiere, is that we do something in the premiere that we've never done in the history of the show. The actor who portrays the DC Comic superhero 'Arrow' in the series, further said, "It does something for the remainder of the season that there's going to be a constant jeopardy in the show, even if times are good. It's a really interesting technique. I think it promotes a good story. I think it will pique people's interest."

Meanwhile, fans are already aware that Damien Darkh, portrayed by Neal McDonough, will be the main villain in season 4. According to rumors, Oliver Queen's sister Thea/ Speedy will play a major role in getting (Green) Arrow back to Star City. Perhaps the major plot development in the premiere episode of 'Arrow' Season 4 has something to do with these two characters. Nevertheless, this is only speculation as it remains to be seen what sets the tone for the supposedly lighter (as compared to season 3), mystical and magical season 4! Listen to Amell's comments in the video below.

In Season 4, fans will Team Arrow facing off against Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E., the group that killed John Diggle's brother. In the meantime Malcolm Merlyn has been promoted to the rank of Ra's al Ghul, resulting in the decision to restoring Sara Lance to life using the Lazarus Pit.

'Arrow' Season 4 premieres on Oct. 7 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on The CW.
