'Arrow' Season 4 Plot Rumors: Character Changes Predicted; Will John Diggle Play Oliver Queen’s Double?
When 'Arrow' returns for its fourth season to The CW this fall, fans of the show are likely to see a number of character changes, especially for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), John Diggle (David Ramsey), Laurel Lance alias Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), Roy Harper alias Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and Thea Queen (Willa Holland).
A report in IB Times says that the billionaire playboy and his lady love Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will be facing new challenges when return to Starling City.
As Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) as well as his team members is of the view that the vigilante archer died during a prison riot, the protagonist will find it difficult to protect the city without disclosing his real identity. While Amell has recently teased a costume change for his character, it is expected that he could still be the prime suspect.
Some fans of the show have been speculating that Oliver may possibly take the help of a double, who could appear in the public, while he is engaged in saving the city. One fan wrote on Reddit, "He could use a robot, hologram, clone, alternate-version-of-himself-from-another-dimension, or ventriloquism."
Of late, Amell also teased a few unforeseen changes in the 'Arrow' Season 4 on The CW series.
In an interview with TV Junkies, Amell said, "It still feels like our show but there are different elements that I think people are going to enjoy. We get to see some characters interact that weren't always the closest of friends or interacting on a regular basis which is neat when you're doing new stuff in the fourth season of a show."
Hence, there are rumors that Diggle may possibly portray the character of the Guardian in a metallic blue and black costume with a yellow helmet mainly, as Ramsey stated that he will be having a hero costume in 'Arrow' Season 4, reported Movie Pilot.
'Arrow' Season 4 will premiere at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, on The CW.
