‘Arrow’ Season 4 Premiere Date News, Rumors: Reports Suggest New Episodes Air Oct. 7

Fans of 'Arrow' are unhappy as The CW is keeping quiet on the precise premiere date of the show's fourth season. The fans are eager to know when Oliver Queen will wear his hood again or if he will ever don it, since last time he was heard saying something like "I'm happy," as he embarked on his new life with his beloved Felicity.

However, Christian Today reports that there are rumors hinting that the upcoming season of the hit series inspired by DC Comics will premiere on Oct. 7 this year. In fact, it has been a practice with The CW to release new seasons of the show on the night ahead of the New York Comic Con. Therefore, there is no reason for the media outlets to think that things will be different this time.

The pilot episode of 'Arrow' was aired on Oct. 10, 2012, while the second season of the show premiered on Oct. 9, 2013. Similarly, 'Arrow' Season 3 was released on Oct. 8 last year. According to Den of Geek, it is almost certain that Oliver Queen and the team will return on Oct. 7 this year for the show's fourth season. Although, The CW has not made any official announcement in this regard yet, this theory seems to be convincing.

In 'Arrow' Season 4, fans are likely to see Oliver dealing with Damien Darkh, the nemesis of Ra's Al Ghul, who is thought to be the chief of a criminal outfit called H.I.V.E. In fact, H.I.V.E. is the same group that ordered the murder of John Diggle's brother.

In addition, fans may also see Diggle wearing Green Lantern's mask in 'Arrow' Season 4. However, the possible association of Felicity with the new antagonist in Starling City makes the entire new upcoming episode exciting as well as complicated. According to rumors, Oliver's love may turn out to be Damien Darkh's daughter.

In the meantime, latest reports state that the 'Punisher: War Zone' director Lexi Alexander is lending a helping hand in 'Arrow' Season 4 the production by directing an episode for the upcoming season. This was revealed by the acclaimed director herself on her Twitter handle. She said that she is excited over her new assignment.

The CW has released an official synopsis for 'Arrow' Season 4 that talks about Oliver's journey, his new team without Roy and with Thea, and goes on to discuss how the "uneasy alliances and rivalries will shift as Oliver faces his most difficult challenge yet."
