'Arrow' New Series News: CW Network to Develop Superhero Team-Up Spinoff Show

Just when you thought the "Arrow-verse" couldn't expand any more, producers of the CW show have announced a new "Superhero Team-Up Show."

This team-up is said to star actors Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Victor Garber, and Caity Lotz, who have all been featured within CW's 'Arrow' or 'The Flash'.

"Routh, Miller and Garber will reprise their popular DC Comics characters - Arrow's Ray Palmer/The Atom (Routh), Flash villain Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Miller), and Flash's Dr. Martin Stein (Garber). Because her Arrow character Sara Lance was killed off, with her sister Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) taking over as the Black Canary, it is unclear whether Lotz will play the same or new superhero," writes Deadline.

As the project is still in very early stages, it is possible for other various characters to cross over into the spin-off.

In fact, it has been stated that three undisclosed DC superheroes who have not yet appeared on a television series are to be included in the project.

This superhero team-up trend is becoming quite the fad with the overwhelming success of Marvel's 'Avengers' series and the Snyder's upcoming 'Justice League' adaptation.

On that note, there has been no date or title revealed for the spin-off as of yet.
