'Arrested Development' Season 5 News, Rumors: 'How Series Going To Change' According To Tony Hale

Fox's comedy series "Arrested Development" season 5 is set to undergo change in a pivotal way, according to Tony Hale.

Hale plays the role of the neurotic Buster Bluth in "Arrested Development" season 5. In his interview with Huffington Post during a Facebook Live segment, Hale said that the producers are targeting to mold the upcoming fifth season in one significant way, which is to shoot the series together, as opposed to season 4. For Hale, he knew for a fact the everyone wanted to do it.

According to Hale, he also missed working across from Gob or working across from Lucille or Tobias. In theory, this makes "Arrested Development" season 4 interesting; however, the final output turned out to be disjointed and frustrating. Thus, having everyone in the same room and at the same time is a potential corrective action for the issue.

As per Screenrant, Hale also talked about rumors on an "Arrested Development" film. According to the publication, a possible plot of the movie may center on the ordeal, involving Buster and Lucille, since the former was under arrest while the latter was missing in the season 4 of the show.

While the rumored film can follow the events in "Arrested Development" film, Hale also recognized the potential of modifying the structure of the storyline, since surprise twists were one of the elements that fans loved very much about the show. Also, modern film trends involve either presenting the exact or enhanced version of the original source material.

In his interview with Empire (via Screenrant), series executive producer Brian Grazer also talked about what to expect from "Arrested Development" season 5. He said that he loved the show, adding that they were going to do another 17 episodes.

Further details on the characters, plot, and release for "Arrested Development" are yet to be revealed.
