Rumor has it that Ariana Grande and Big Sean have reportedly called it quits after she learned of his alleged infidelity.

The big split reportedly happened when Grande discovered several pictures of women including an Instagram model on Big Sean's phone. An insider revealed, to Star magazine, the details of the reported break-up.

"During the last visit they had together, right before Christmas, Ariana reached for Sean's phone and he about jumped out of his seat. She questioned why he was so jumpy, and insisted on seeing his phone," the source said.

However, the Hip Hop artist reportedly tried to defend himself after the discovery.

"He tried to play it off and swears he hasn't hooked up with anyone since they became official, but Ariana was devastated. She couldn't believe the sort of things she saw them talking about to him!" the insider added.

It all went downhill after that since Grande reportedly decided to stay away from Big Sean.

"She refuses to return his calls. She feels completely violated and has lost all trust in him. His grandma passed away a few days later and she hasn't even called to check up on him. They're done!" the insider revealed.

The break-up rumors were further fueled by Big Sean's tweets on New Year's Day. The Hip Hop singer posted: "Lotta ups and downs during this holiday."

Fans presumed that this might be the evidence for the rumored split. Big Sean tweeted: "But I appreciate all the love n support. I'm thankful to have fam, friends n everything good!"

The third tweet said: "No point in worrying bout things you can't control."

However, Big Sean may or may not be referring to the rumored break-up. Days before the news came out, Grande's mother reportedly treated Big Sean as her own son. Apparently, Grande's mom Joan loves Sean since she witnessed how the singer treats her daughter well.

Aside from that, they gave a sweet performance during the "A Very Grammy Christmas" show. The two ended the duet while holding hands.

As it stands, the couple has not released an official statement about the rumored split.

On a side note, Grande's career is soaring high as she was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Duo/Group Performance for the 2015 Grammy Awards.
