"Are You the One?" season 4 is going to be a crazy season for the hit American dating reality television series, but that is all MTV has to say about the upcoming season for now.

Responding to a fan who asked for clues on the season 4 release date, the MTV confirmed last February that 'Are You the One?" will be back for another season this 2016.

"The only thing I can tell you is that it will be coming back this year," responded the MTV.

On April 7, another fan of the matchmaking competition show asked via Twitter when the show would return with its new episodes. While the MTV series did not give a specific date for the season 4 release, it promised that the show is indeed coming back this year, and that it is going to be nutty.

"Are You the One?" features a bunch of attractive young men and young women who live together in a house on their quest to find their ideal matches. One of their housemates is their perfect match and it is up to them to find out who that person is.

Since the first season, finding their perfect match has been a tough challenge for the contestants as it always leads to heartbreak and jealousy, especially when they find out they'd been making the wrong choice the whole time.  In many cases, heartbreak and jealousy linger on even after the end of the season.

In an interview with season 3 contestant Kiki Cooper, she told MTV how confused she was by all the drama that she and Devin dealt with the whole time they were inside the house.

"It's just hard to say now whether or not his feelings were real. I think there was a part of him that did care about me and did love me as a person I guess, but then I think back to everything he said and I'm like, how can you love someone and still tell them you love them and go and say all these horrible things about them," she said.

Words are going around that "Are You the One?" season 4 is coming this fall on MTV.
