'Aquaman' Movie News: Jason Momoa Talks Titular Role & Costume

Fans are all excited for what Zack Snyder has in store with the DC cinematic world he's crafting, but one of the most interesting adaptions would have to be Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

In a recent interview with THR, the actor spoke on what he'll be bringing to the role along with his costume.

About a month ago, a photo of the actor from the waist up revealed what he would look like as Aquaman. While this was a totally unconventional look from the more known look of the superhero, he vouches for what Snyder and the costume designer, Michael Wilkinson, have in mind.

Momoa hasn't yet been featured in any movies yet, but is believed to make an appearance in 'Batman V Superman', before having a much bigger role in 'Justice League' in 2017.

Momoa states:

"Justice League is quite a ways off. We don't have scripts and stuff like that. I'll bring my professionalism there. I'll bring my sense of humor. Hopefully people will like that. If they don't I'll modify it."

He goes on to comment on how his Aquaman costume came about.

"Michael [Wilkinson], the head costume designer, he created all of that. I basically just showed up and he made it happen. And It's all Zack, through his genius mind. I'm going to be in one of the biggest movies in history in a minute, playing a superhero. And I have kids so that's cool. My kids can finally see something that I'm in."

Momoa's solo film, 'Aquaman,' is slated for 2018.
