Apple Watch Pre-Orders: Tech Titan Introduces ‘Guided Tours’ Section, Pre-Orders Start April 10 [VIDEO]

Apple Inc. has confirmed on Friday that it will begin accepting pre-orders for its first wearable device, the Apple Watch, from April 10 after midnight at 12:01 a.m. PT (3:01 a.m. ET).

IB Times reports that the Apple Watch device will be launched on April 10 and will initially be available to customers in nine countries - the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, and Japan. Apple has also confirmed the exact pre-order dates as well as times for all these markets.

Australia - April 10, 5:01 p.m. AEST

Canada - April 10, 12:01 a.m. PT / 3:01 ET

China - April 10, 3:01 p.m.

France - April 10, 9:0 1.pm.

Germany - April 10, 9:01 p.m.

Hong Kong - April 10, 3:01 p.m.

Japan - April 10, 3:01 p.m.

United Kingdom - April 10, 8:01 a.m.

United States - April 10, 12:01 a.m. PT/ 3:01 a.m. ET

According to iDownloadBlog, apart from placing pre-orders on the online store, customers can also pre-order the Apple Watch via the official Apple Store app for the iPhone and iPad. The report further stated that customers can also preview the device at the company's retail outlets from April 10.

Earlier this week, Gene Munster, a senior analyst at Piper Jaffray, said that it is expected Apple will sell no less than a million units in the first weekend following its launch.

Munster further claimed that Apple could sell as many as 300,000 units in the first 24 hours of the availability of the device. In general, Apple may possibly sell 8 millions of units of the Apple Watch through 2015, thereby earning revenues worth $4.4 billion.

Apple has included a "Guided Tours" section on its official website with a view to provide a comprehensive look at the features of the Apple Watch before its launch on April 24. The section comprises walk-through videos that elucidate the viewers regarding the advantages of the new smart watch.
