Apple Watch Latest News: Tech Titan to Launch ‘Basics’ Workshops to Teach People How to Use the iWatch

Apple Inc. has announced that it plans to launch 'Basics' workshops to train people on how to use their new Apple Watch, which is due for launch next week. According to the Cupertino-based tech will be offering "Apple Watch Basics" workshops at all its retail outlets for this purpose from April 24.

IB Times reports that all Apple retail stores will not be hosting these workshop sessions for the Apple Watch. The report further states that Apple will post the participating locations on their individual webpages as well as sections of the Apple Store App. Nearly all the sessions will be one hour long and there will be a 30-minute interval in each session. Some workshops will also be organized on the weekends.

Until now, workshops offered by the stores seem to be organized haphazardly, as none of Apple's flagship stores in New York City seem to be offering the workshops after the launch of the Apple Watch. However, these may change next week, as currently many of these stores have no workshops scheduled for the day when Apple Watch will begin shipping.

Although the descriptions of these workshops call for Apple Watch owners to bring along their new smartwatch as well as iPhone for the sessions, it is unlikely that several of them will possess them next Friday, keeping in view that many pre-orders have delivery dates as far as June, owing to global demands as well as supply constraints.

However, to compensate for a physical Apple Watch to handle, Apple has also released many guided tour videos to demonstrate to its customers how they can use their new Apple Watch even without requiring booking an appointment for the "Apple Watch Basics" workshops.
