Apple Watch 3 Release Date, Specs News, Rumors: Late Summer Or Fall 2017 Launch Most Likely?

There's no release date for the Apple Watch 3 just yet. Instead, all that people have to go on are the news reports and rumors going around.

Apple has just released watchOS 3 and, now, watchOS 4 is expected to be launched in June next year. Apple Watch 3 is expected to feature the latest OS, which means that we won't likely get the new gadget until after June next year.

According to PCAdvisor, the release date for Apple Watch 3 is expected to be in September 2017. But people who can't wait for that schedule may, if rumors hold true, be able to get their hands on the Apple Watch "S" model, with 4 GB or 8 GB storage, as early as March next year.

There's no price tag yet for the Apple Watch 3 but it's expected to be no less than $453.76 for the 38mm and $490 for the higher end version.

As for specs, Apple Watch 3 is expected to have a camera for selfies and FaceTime sessions. It's not clear if the watch face will be round this time, but rumors are saying that it's going to have the 3D Touch feature.

There is also an image leak that hint of magnetic wristband, which rolls by itself, although the technology could still be at an early stage and might not be featured in on Apple Watch 3.

MacWorld reported that Apple will also cut the price of the Apple Watch 2 by around $100 before September 2017 in anticipation of the Apple Watch 3 release date.
