Apple Retina 5K iMac News: Refurbished Device Available at New Price via Online Store
Apple is finally offering a refurbished 5K iMac through its online store with a price of $2,119, 15% cheaper than a new model. With around $380 off the price of a new model, users will enjoy a 3.5GHz quad-core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, AMD Radeon R9 graphics processor and a 1TB Fusion Drive.
While Apple does not allow upgrading of any of the specs, they are still offering on their refurbished Retina iMacs through their online store. The $2,419 unit has a 16GB memory and 3TB Fusion Drive, while the $2,549 version boasts a 16 GB memory and 512 GB flash storage.
Apple fans across the world have been asking for Retina displays ever since the launch of the iPhone 4 and the iPad 3. Now that Apple has officially launched refurbished units at their online store, users will now have the option to get a cheaper and less risky way to get an Apple desktop with high-end hardware and specs.
Apple officially released the refurbished 27-inch iMac with Retina display to the company's online store, giving customers more reduced price options. However, customers should keep in mind that availability of these units are limited.
The Retina 5k display has a 14.7 million pixel capacity which helps Apple maintain its high standards by providing the highest image quality possible while assuring users that energy consumption is kept to a minimum at all times, as all iMac products meet ENERGY STAR 6.1 requirements.
