Apple iWatch Update: New Ads Showcase Fitness Features of Luxury Smartwear Watch

With the April launch of the Apple Watch drawing closer, the much anticipated smartwatch will feature in the March 2015 issue of Vogue. The smartwatch will appear on 12 pages of the fashion magazine along with other luxury and premium brands, which only justifies the fact that even the cheapest Apple Watch will carry a price tag that is double of nearly all other similar devices on the market.

IB Times reports that Apple will launch the smartwatch in two sizes and three versions, including - a stainless-steel Standard model, a rubber-banded model called Aluminum Sport, and the 18-karat gold Edition. All these versions of the Apple Watch will feature in the March edition of Vogue above a white backdrop. Traditionally, most fashion brands preview their spring collections during this time of the year.

It may be recalled that the Apple Watch made its debut in print media on the cover of Vogue China in 2014, as the magazine's editor Anna Wintour has been endeavoring to make Vogue the most technologically inclined fashion magazine. In 2013, Vogue also featured the Google Glass in a 12-page spread.

Tech blog site 9to5 says that the Cupertino-based tech titan is advertising the Apple Watch with life-size images of various collections of the device as well as the different options for bands, finish plus style. The digital edition of Vogue exhibits an interactive video ad showing a rotating 18-karat rose-gold Apple Watch Edition.

Earlier, the Apple Watch also featured in February issue of a different Condé Nast title, Self magazine. Ad Age says that the ad shows model Candice Swanepoel wearing the Sport edition of the Apple Watch in the magazine. These ads talk about the various fitness features of the smartwatch.
