Apple iPhone 8 News Update, Rumors: All Glass Body, No Samsung Chip?

With the release of the iPhone 7 on Sept. 7, the never ending rumor mill is slowly moving on to the iPhone 8.

Most of the rumors coming out now is that the iPhone 8 may feature an-all glass body, which means the bezel surrounding the display will be completely stamped out. The Touch ID technology would be fully maximized in an all-glass mobile.

However, this kind of technology is challenging to say the least. In fact, no manufacturer has ever tried a borderless mobile. So bear that in mind when you hear rumors or even news reports on the iPhone 8 in that regard.

What might actually happen is the iPhone 8 will have a glass back, which would also make the next flagship unique on the market.

One of the major changes to the iPhone 7 was the absence of a physical home button. In its place is the force touch button, which will reportedly help improve the water resistant capabilities of the device. The reception to this innovation would be significant as it could determine whether or not that design would extend to the iPhone 8.

Meanwhile, the rumors about Samsung not being included in the manufacturing of the A10 chip for the iPhone 7 has been confirmed, as reported by Forbes. It said that Apple has only tapped TMSC in manufacturing the next generation of chips, as well as possibly another generation with the iPhone 8's chip.

This could have some major impact on the overall bottom-line of the South Korean company, although it would not necessarily help "boost sales of the iPhone 7 devices."

Many rumors agree in saying that Apple is likely release the iPhone 8 in June next year, during the 10th anniversary of the smartphone series.
