Apple Event 2015 News: Cupertino Tech Titan Announces New iPhones, New Apple TV, iPad Pro plus New Apple Watch Models [VIDEO]

As expected, Apple Inc. announced a slew of new products at an event in San Francisco on Wednesday, Sept. 9, which the Cupertino-based tech giant uses traditionally to promote its latest iPhones and other products. Together with the latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which sport 3D touch and a 12-megapixel camera, the company also launched a latest Apple TV, the much anticipated iPad Pro as well as new Apple Watch models.

According to MacWorld, a site dedicated to Apple product line, the event kicked off with the Apple Watch and watchOS 2. In fact, the Apple Watch Sport got two new colors - gold and rose gold, with a number of new sport straps in addition to a new hand-stitched luxury leather strap from Hermes. While the new Apple Watch Sport models began shipping from Thursday, Sept. 10, WatchOS 2 will come on Sept. 16.

The brand new iPad - the iPad Pro, was the next. The 12.9-inch is the largest iOS device Apple has made so fat. The iPad Pro boasts a 2732x2048 display with approximately 5.6 million pixels. The device packs a 64-bit A9X chip with 1.8x the performance of the A8X, which, according to Apple, is capable of producing "desktop-class performance." Together with the A9X chip, the device comes with a four-speaker audio system, 8-megapixel iSight camera, Touch ID and two killer accessories - the Apple Pencil and Apple Smart Keyboard.

Having unveiled the iPad Pro, Apple CEO Tim Cook took up the mantle to introduce the next-gen Apple TV including a redesigned OS (tvOS) as well as touch remote. In fact, the new Apple TV boasts a full App Store with games that are playable with the remote, in addition to the user's iPhone or iPad alongside Siri integration, which can be used whenever one wants. If one wants to find out the weather while watching Netflix, he/ she simply needs to ask Siri and it will be displayed on the lower third of the screen, isolated from the action. The user can also ask "What did he say?" while watching a movie and Siri will rewind the clip 15 seconds and also enable subtitles for the moment. It is certainly amazing.

Finally, but by no means least important, came the much anticipated iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Interestingly, several rumors about the upcoming iPhone 6S turned out to be true - the device will be available in Rose Gold, it will sport a new kind of touch named "3D Touch" and come with a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with 4K video capabilities.

According to IB Times, the introduction of 3D Touch allows users a completely new way to interact with their smartphone - for instance, they are sending a text message with an address. Rather than opening Maps directly, they can force press the address to open a pop-up Map so that they can quickly view and dismiss. The 3D Touch also incorporates Live Photos, photographs that when force touched will play a short video clip and sound from when the photo was taken.

The new iPhones will arrive on Sept. 25, but eager customers can pre-order them now.
