Apple Black Friday 2014 Deals, Free iTunes Gift Cards: RED Promotion Offers Various Vouchers for Music
Apple announced their new series of discount deals for Black Friday 2014, which will include iTunes gift cards that will come free with certain Apple Store purchases.
Apple Store will be celebrating Black Friday or, as they call it, the "(RED) Special Shopping Day Promo," with discounts for their customers. For a certain purchase and price bought at the Apple Store, customers will be able to avail of the free iTunes gift cards that amount to different prices.
Purchasing the Apple TV, iPod Nano, iPod Touch, Beats speakers and Beats headphones will come with a free $25 (RED) iTunes Gift Card; while a $50 gift card will come to those who add these items on their gift basket, the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Mini 3.
The biggest (RED) iTunes Gift worth $100, on the other hand, will come with the iMac with the regular display, the iMac with the Retina 5K display, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Retina MacBook Pro and Retina iMac.
The iTunes gift cards, however, are only redeemable for select United States iTunes Store, iBooks Store, App Store and Mac App Store. Also, regardless of quantity, purchasing the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will amount to only two (RED) iTunes Gift Cards per household, and the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 will also amount to only two.
It has been noted that this year's gift card offerings were less than last year's.
During 2013's Black Friday event, Apple offered $50 gift cards for iPods, $75 for the iPad Air and $150 for Mac hardware.
The new RED brand for Black Friday is in support of the World AIDS Day held on Dec. 1, as Apple also plans to donate a portion of their sales to the Global Fund.
