A$AP Rocky Confirms he is not Homophobic After Appearance With NBA Jason Collins
A$AP Rocky has confirmed that he is not homophobic after causing controversy when he was on stage with openly gay NBA player Jason Collins introducing Macklemore's performance of "Same Love" during the MTV Video Music Awards. As Collins was speaking about being openly gay, gay acceptance, and promoting A$AP Ferg's new album; A$AP Rocky looked very uncomfortable during the whole speech. The look A$AP gave off was so bad it was funny. He did an interview with Stashed saying,
"I'm mad that my facial expressions was like that because I'm not homophobic at all, and that whole thing just came off real homophobic." At Jay Z's Made in America festival he said.
"I didn't really notice it until I got home and saw it. I apologize to Jason for that, because people was laughing and sh-t, and you know, I really don't think that's funny. I saw they were making all the memes and pictures and making fun of him."
A$AP has went in to say that he knows gay people and he has gay people in his family, he said "Truthfully I got gay people in my family. I don't give a f--k if you gay or you not, I just found it odd that MTV wanted to stand me next to this n---a when they are talking about gay people, that's all. You know what I'm saying?"
A$AP has been accused of being gay in the past, but he is currently dating model Chanel Iman. Check out the pics above the article and you be the judge. Sound off in the comments and stay tuned for more news and updates.
