The new 'Ant-Man' trailer has promoted the film in a big way as many fans who have lost hope in its success, can now rest reassured of its place as one of MCU's top new contenders.

This trailer now finally gives us an up and close look at the villain Yellowjacket and some of his abilities. We also get to see some of the more intricate features of the Ant-Man suit.

Here's the movie's synopsis:

"The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios' 'Ant-Man'. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world."

While Ant-Man has never been one of Marvel's most popular character, mainly from its subject matter, this looks like the studio really has a shot at bringing some of that cool factor to the character that the rest of the major superheroes get.

It also looks like it has a shot at being one of the funnier Marvel films produced in a while. That alone could be a great selling point.

'Ant-Man' makes its way into theaters on June 17^th.
