For these last couple of years, Marvel has really been cranking out the blockbusters! Superhero movie after superhero movie, the film-making studio has been reaping the benefits of extremely successful films featuring familiar characters like Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America and Thor.

In 2015, Marvel revealed its newest creation with a seven-second glimpse into the world of Ant-Man.

In the film, Paul Rudd stars as the infamous Ant-Man, a reformed thief. Ant-Man is chosen by Hank Pym to protect a secret suit that will enable its users to shrink in size dramatically. Leave it to Marvel to prove that size isn't everything! Every time Ant-Man shrinks in size his strength increases dramatically.

The teaser does not offer much about the coveted new superhero hit, but a few spoilers for the film could be inferred.

First of all, Ant-Man is really a poor thief named Scott Lang. He is arrested by the police early in the trailer. His antagonist, Darren Cross, may be the man in the suit who appears in the teaser. The antagonist is also known as Yellowjacket, and he is the owner of Cross Technological enterprises.

Also, a faint female form is shown in a fight scene. Comic-lovers speculate that this may be Hank Pym's daughter, Hope Van Dyne. Hope could be training Ant-Man, although Scott's fancy helmet might provide the superhero all the help he needs. Viewers of the trailer get to see a swarm of ants making their way across the screen. It seems that the technology will give users the ability to speak to ants, as well as shrink to the size of one.

As it stands, 'Ant-Man' will be released in theaters on July 17, 2015.
