'Ant-Man' Movie Update: Marvel & Disney Launch Trailer, Photos; Movie Hits Theaters on July 17 [VIDEO]

The recently released trailer of the upcoming superhero film 'Ant-Man' released by Marvel Studios and Disney has shown that the movie will have an excellent balance between humor, much like what movie goers saw in 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' and the serious issue of protecting the world. However, fans had a different idea regarding the movie when Paul Rudd joined the cast.

According to Christian Post, when the 'Ant-Man' trailer was first released the views actually soared, hinting that this may possibly be the biggest movie this summer. All said and done, Marvel fans really loved what they saw in the trailer. It displays an excellent blend of wit, humor, seriousness as well as grim factors.

Although the 'Ant-Man' trailer doesn't offer too much detail or information regarding the movie, its content is quite sufficient to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. In addition, watch Rudd in the trailer is also great fun. According to Screen Crush, he looks great in his suit.

Apart from the trailer, Marvel has also released new official photographs from the 'Ant-Man'. The first official poster is very humorous: you will have to try and find Ant-Man in the photo. And people who can find him will surely be left smiling. Screen Crush has been able to obtain some other photos taken on the set of the movie, in addition to the concept art for Yellowjacket, portrayed by Corey Stoll, wearing the infamous costume.

Meanwhile, Screen Crush spoke to Stoll regarding his character in the movie recently. The website quotes Stoll saying, "I was this child prodigy that Michael Douglas' character Hank Pym discovered at an early age. He nurtured me and I was part of his technology company. I started to become aware of these rumors of this fabled technology that can shrink people to half an inch while keeping their full-size strength. And I became very obsessed with it and demanded that we move forward. But Pym had sort of buried it for ethical, moral reasons."

Stoll also shared that the Yellowjacket suit he discovered is much more superior to what Ant-Man has.

'Ant-Man' is scheduled to be released on July 17.
