Red carpet commentators, journalists, and magazine readers have been pointing out the striking similarities in Amal and Anne's eyes, nose, lips, even hair. Eventually, even Anne Hathaway caught wind of her surprising likeness to the successful human rights lawyer, Mrs. Clooney, during an interview.

Hathaway was being interviewed by Extra host Tracey Edmonds for her film 'Song One'. It was during that interview that Edmonds revealed the rumors about Hathaway looking so much like Clooney. On that note, Hathaway was pleasantly shocked.

"I've never heard that, but thank you!" the actress said, "That's, like, so going to be the best thing that happens to me today."

The young actress was truly honored to be compared to the accomplished lawyer. She went on to say, "I hope that I become half the woman that she is - she's so accomplished, and it's so thrilling to look at someone and be like, 'Oh, you really are making the world a better place."

Perhaps Hathaway and Mrs. Clooney will get another chance to meet at next year's Golden Globes. The young journalist made quite an entrance on that day, becoming the brunt of several of the Golden Globes' hosts' jokes. It looks like we'll get to hear a twin joke about the two celebrities in the near future.
