'Animal Crossing' Nintendo 3DS Latest News & Update: Game Gets Amiibo Support
Amiibo was included into the "Animal Crossing" Nintendo 3DS update, along with some mini-games.
According to the report, players can now use 16 "Animal Crossing" Amiibos, as well as the "Splatoon" and "Zelda" figures. Those "New Leaf" and "Happy Home Designer" cards can also be used in the "Animal Crossing" Nintendo 3Ds update.
Also, you can reboot your old town by selling it to Tom Nook. But make sure that you are sure about this decision, however, since it doesn't seem that you can go back once you cross the Rubicon, so to speak.
Meanwhile, Polygon said that using the "Zelda" Amiibo into the "Animal Crossing" Nintendo 3DS update will summon villagers that are based on Ganon, Wolf link and Epona into your town. You can also swap coupons for special items, while also interact with the villagers in the camp area.
The other "Animal Crossing" Nintendo 3DS update include the Save Data from "Happy Home Designer" that has crossed over to the "New Leaf." Players can also release their creative side with the interior decorating option since the inventory space has just been increased.
With Tom Nook always on standby to purchase new real estate, you can have infinite number of ways to reboot if you don't like what your town looks like.
The other minigames that have been added to the "Animal Crossing" Nintendo 3DS update include Puzzle League and Desert Island Escape. In the latter game, your challenge is to scour for materials in order to build your own raft to flee the island. Puzzle League, meanwhile, can be accessed through the 3DS XL Furniture.
