Angie Stone News: Grammy Nominated Singer Knocks Out Daughter Diamond Stone's Teeth?

Grammy-nominated singer and actress Angie Stone was charged with aggravated assault last Monday for reportedly knocking out her 30-year-old daughter's front teeth after a heated argument with her in Lithonia, Georgia.

Reportedly, it was Stone's daughter, Diamond Stone who reported her mother for repeatedly hitting her with a metal stand to the local police district that then arrested both of them at 9:30 pm last Monday. It has been reported by the DeKalb Police Department that they received a call from Angie's home on Rogers Lake Road.

The police department also released a statement saying that it was Angie, 53 who came to Diamond's room and demanded her to "get her children since they were running around the house half naked." Afterwards, the two got into an argument then got really physical.

It was reported that Diamond hit her mother Angie punching her in her face then Angie reportedly said that she defended herself by striking her daughter Diamond with a metal stand. After realizing that she had knocked out her daughter's teeth, Angie reportedly said that she put away the metal stand.

Angie also reportedly told the police that she placed the metal stand far away from her daughter who may also strike her. The fight was interrupted when someone intervened to finally end the fight between the mother and her daughter.

The two were sent to the police department for questioning but after investigation, the police department released Diamond with no charges and detained her mother Angie to charge her with aggravated assault.

Meanwhile, there are still no official statements coming from either Angie Stone or Diamond Stone regarding the incident. Angie Stone is famously known to be a three-time Grammy-nominated singer in her hit singles in 2003, 2004 and 2008.
