Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt News: Hollywood Couple Adopting Two-Year-Old Syrian Boy
Reports are surfacing that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are ready to expand their family once again by means of adoption.
The couple, parents to six, three adopted and three biological children, hopes to add a son from Syria.
Woman's Day reported last month that the couple was in the process of finalizing months of negotiations to adopt a two-year-old boy.
The unconfirmed report alleges the boy is named Moussa and was first encountered during a visit to a particularly ravished section of the Middle East.
According to reports from the Sydney Morning News the source added "Angelina heard about him from a translator and she was obviously upset, but Moussa was just beaming from ear to ear, and when he saw she was wiping tears from her eyes he toddled up to her and gave her a hug and it was a very emotional moment and everyone was suddenly laughing and smiling."
If the Jolie-Pitt family eventually confirms these reports, it will come as no surprise as the family is known for their diverse children from struggling undeveloped nations.
Marooned at a refugee camp in Altinozu, the toddler apparently immediately bonded with Jolie.
In her roles as United Nations Ambassador, the actress and director has been an active force to expose suffering that might go unnoticed to the world through her travels.
In an essay she wrote, "A New Level of Refugee Suffering", Angelina said, "I have visited Iraq five times since 2007, and I have seen nothing like the suffering I'm witnessing now."
If Moussa joins the Jolie-Pitt clan, he will be the youngest of the couple's adopted children Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, and nine-year-old Zahara.
The couple also has three biological children, Shiloh, eight, and twins Vivienne and Knox, age five.
On a side note, things seem to be moving quickly for the large family as they just recently celebrated the wedding of Angelina and Brad that took place last year in France.
