The EP has six features and incorporate singers, rappers, and a beat boxer. Hip-Hop artist KB, one of Mineo's label mates, is a featured on the song "Paganini." The song title was inspired by the Italian violinist known for his exceptional skills on the violin.
The making of Never Land was documented in the second season of the rapper's Saturday Morning Car-Tunez series. Saturday Morning Car-Tunez Season 2: Making "Never Land" series had a new episode every Saturday in the month January. The videos are all featured on Mineo's YouTube page.
"My biggest issue with Christian music in general is that it always feels like the clean alternative of something that is already out," Mineo said in episode 1 of Saturday Morning Car-Tunez Season 2: Making Never Land.
Fans have been raving over the seven piece musical project.
A fan took to Mineo's Facebook page and said, "Dear Lord, Thank you for giving Andy Mineo the ultimate blessing a rapper could ever have: smooth flow, sick beats and a spiritual heart to produce heavenly rhymes. Amen." Another added, "This is the most dope album ever.!! Good job man and God bless ?Andy Mineo."
Mineo's full-length studio album, Heroes for Sale, was released in 2013 on Reach Records, which was founded by very successful label mate Lecrae.
