According to Latin Post, Google had already revealed the first version of the Android N developer preview. They also reported the the version 2.0 of it will be released some time this week. The Android N will be monstrous when it comes to multitasking and its other improved features.

To do this, all the users need to do is to press the app for a longer amount of time in the app swither while still on another app. Another marvelous feature on the upgrade is the free form window mode. In this mode, users will be able to "drag and drop" apps and other windows elements on top of their background screen.
There will also be an improved "two-tier system." This will feature different levels of sleep to be more efficient with power. If the user turns off his or her screen for a short period of time, it will just be on a lighter sleep mode but when the phone senses no movements for a specific amount of time, the phone will fall into a deeper Doze mode.
Also, Android Runtime is also getting a couple of improvements to serve the users quicker. The app will now launch and reboot faster compared its previous versions.
Many more updates to come. Google I/O starts some time in May so this is definitely something to watch out for.
