Google is expected to release Android M, the company's latest mobile operating system, sometime soon. A latest report in GeekSnack has now offered a more concrete release date for the OS. The report claims that the upcoming OS will be released alongside Google's new Nexus smartphone - the Nexus 5 2015.

Christian Today reports that an insider confirmed to GeekSnack that Android M as well as a new Nexus will be launched simultaneously. However, the source did not confirm if the new device will be the Nexus 5 2015 or possibly any other smartphone that Google and its collaborators may be developing currently. According to the report, it is very likely that Android M will be released together with the new device considering the fact that the Nexus is Google's flagship mobile product.

Meanwhile, another report in BGR stated that the simultaneous launch of Android M and a Nexus handset may possibly suggest that the next Android OS will be rolled out much earlier than the speculated schedule in Q4 2015.

The BGR report further says that Google is gearing up for an October release for the Nexus 5 2015 and the device might hit the market toward the end of Q3 2015 - precisely speaking sometime around September. In the meantime, Google will release Android M's Preview 3, an early beta build for people to try out, this month.

In case Google releases the Nexus 5 2015 earlier than its speculated schedule, and there is no further need for Android M beta testing, it is likely that these two products may become available together by September.

In addition, it is being rumored that both LG and Huawei Technologies are currently working on the next Nexus device. iDigital Times reports that LG is currently making a device code named "Bullethead," while Huawei is said to be developing a phablet code named "Angler." It is speculated that Google may release either of these devices, or both of them, with the new Android M OS.

ExpertReviews reports that chances are there that Android M will launch early for developers, which will coincides with the Q3 2015 release date. At the same time, it says that the commercial release might not happen until November.
