Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update News: Two Different Updates Now Available On Galaxy A9

Good news for all Samsung Galaxy A9 users. Samsung recently updated the Galaxy A9 to the Android Marshmallow 6.0!

According to Phone Arena, China, the only country who receive the launch for the Galaxy A9, just received the update and now the it will be rolling out the "unlocked versions" within the next couple of weeks.

Also according to the site, Samsung has launched two different Android 6.0.1 updates for the Galaxy A9 just this past week alone. It was reported that the build dates are and that the latest version has a build number: A9000ZCU1BPE2. The users of an unlocked Galaxy A9 was sent a notification for this update. This was sent out to all the A9 user and there's no reason why it shouldn't have been received by the users but just in case, users can manually apply the update to their phones by going to "Settings," then "About device" and then "Software update."

So why are we sharing this information in the tablet is only available in China? If we go a couple of months back, the A9 was the very first metallic Galaxy A series to have ever received a Marshmallow update. This may mean that the most recent update will also be available on the rest of the Samsung mobile products in the near future.

There really is something wrong with Samsung and the Marshmallow update. It has been really frustrating for the customers; knowing that the update is available on other devices but not on theirs. Hopefully this would mean that Samsung is now stepping up their game.
