Android 5.0 Lollipop Galaxy Note 4 News: Samsung Confirms Google's Latest OS Update for Device
Samsung has updated a new user manual for their Galaxy Note 4 which incorporates the upcoming Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, indicating that an update is coming very soon.
The new user manual is available on Samsung's website and it points out several variants of the Galaxy Note 4 that will be receiving the update, namely the SM-910C, SM-N910F, SM-N910H, SM-N910CQ, SM-910G and SM-910U.
It has been reported before that the South Korean company is expected to skip ahead and get the latest version of the Lollipop operating system to not just the Galaxy Note 4, but also the Galaxy Note Edge variant.
The Galaxy Note Edge is similar in design to the Note 4 anyway, though the phablet comes with a flexible display that extends to the side.
The Galaxy Note 4 was well-received when it came out last fall, so much so that it led to sold out stores and Samsung even unable to meet the demands. Some of its selling points at the time were its features, the 5.7-inch HD AMOLED display, 16MP camera and sleek metal hybrid build, but users were also interested to get the latest Android OS.
Now users are in for more exciting news because if the latest rumors are to be believed, this latest Android 5.0.1 update will be coming out sometime before the end of the month.
While users wait though, they can check out the screenshots, as well as the first and second preview videos of the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 4 that's available on websites.
In the videos, interested users can see the Material Design, a more lag-free user experience, the Lollipop-style animated feedback, a more improved notifications deck, brighter and more solid colors throughout the user interface and improvement in the looks of apps such as Contacts, Messaging, Dialer and more.
