The Anaheim Ducks will go one-on-one with the Montreal Canadiens on March 4 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The Ducks are looking to defend their home ice when they encounter the Canadiens on Wednesday night.

Recently, the Ducks defeated the Dallas Stars by a final score of 3-1, where Anaheim center Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assists in the victory on March 1.

"We have a little bit more depth now," said Getzlaf to reporters.

"The playoffs are experience, and you can't get that unless you're there. We had a lot of young guys who got great experience over the last couple of years. This year, we feel ready."

Meanwhile, the Canadiens (41-17-5) are looking to avoid a possible two game losing streak when they battle the Ducks at the Honda Center.

"For us, it seemed like we had no energy tonight," said Montreal head coach Michel Therrien to reporters after his team's latest defeat versus the Sharks.

"I thought our team was drained."

Previously, the Canadiens were crushed by the San Jose Sharks by a final score of 4-0, where Montreal goalie Carey Price made 33 saves in a losing effort on March 2.

"We just weren't sharp today," said Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban to reporters.

"We weren't, and they were. They seemed like they had more juice. They were just going, going, going...This wasn't our team today."
