Amy Duggar Wedding News: '19 Kids and Counting' Star Marries Fiance Dillon King
Wedding bells ring again for the Duggar family, this time for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's niece, Amy Duggar, who married Dillon King, her fiance of two months, on Sept. 6.
A mere two months ago, Amy, 28, showed off her new engagement ring and announced via social media:
"I'm so happy to announce ... WE ARE ENGAGED!!!!! He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he's loyal, he's patient, he's my best friend! Of course I said yes!!"
The couple tied the knot in an intimate 'country-chic' ceremony at Horton Farms near Bentonville, Arkansas amidst rose gold and candlelight.
Many members of the Duggar clan attended the nuptials including 19 Kids & Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle.
Also in attendance were Josh Duggar's wife Anna, Jill, Johanna, Jordyn, Jennifer, Josie and the pregnant Jessa, it was reported by People. Josh and Anne's 5-year-old daughter, Mackynzie served as flower girl.
The bride was radiant in an Essence of Australia sweetheart neckline gown. Amy gushed: "This is such a positive moment in our lives. "
Amy shared that she will change her last name to King, relinquishing the household Duggar moniker that was made famous when the hit reality series aired in .
"I can't wait to change my name," she told People before the nuptials. "It's going to be a great day when Dillon signs that marriage license and my last name changes."
The Duggar clan has been cast under a scandalous cloud recently when news broke that Josh molested five young girls as a teen.
He then confessed that he had cheated on Anna and had a problem with graphic images. He is under "faith-based" rehab for the problem.
