'America's Got Talent' 2016: Simon Cowell Returns As Judge, Liakhovetski Brothers Give Insights On Auditioning?
Simon Cowell is set to return as one of the judges on "America's Got Talent" season 11 in 2016, and he recently shared his thoughts about reprising his role as judge on the popular television show. In an interview with US Weekly, the former "American Idol" judge said that he had been thinking about returning to the show for a while.
"I want to experience what it's like judging American talent on this show, compared to just British talent," Cowell said in a statement.
According to Cowell, he and the crew had actually talked about him doing the show a few years ago; however, he said he could not do it at that time. He also mentioned that, having been on the British counterpart ever since it had started, every time he had used to turn up and watch "America's Got Talent," there had been a part of him that always thought that being a judge on the show would be a really fun thing to do.
When the invitation for the show came up again, Cowell said that he had thought that it had been just too good an opportunity to turn down.
In other news, Boca Raton brothers Emil Liakhovetski and Dariel Liakhovetski shared some insight into getting on "America's Got Talent."
In their interview with The Pop File, Emil said that it really did not help one to be nervous, adding that whatever happened was beyond a person's control. He also said that one should be himself, as there was such a big variety of talent.
Dariel added that one should not be afraid of rejection, as a "no" at times meant absolutely nothing in the long view of life and on what one could do.
The upcoming season of "America's Got Talent" is set to premiere this summer on NBC.
