‘American Ultra’ New Trailer News: Kristen Stewart & Jesse Eisenberg Showcase Special Fighting Powers [VIDEO]
In her real life, Kristen Stewart may be introverted and media-shy, but an entire different aspect of her personality is unveiled when she is in front of the camera. This was proved again in the recently released trailer of the upcoming movie 'American Ultra.'
According to a report in IB Times, in the 'American Ultra' trailer, Stewart not only boasts her orange-hued hair, but also does pulls off some really risky stunts. In the trailer, the actress is seen blasting bad men along with her onscreen partner Jesse Eisenberg. This is the second trailer of 'American Ultra' and it reveals much more information. In the first trailer, fans saw the character's love for cocaine and drugs, while the second trailer concentrates on how Eisenberg acquires all the superpowers to fight.
However, fans should not expect Eisenberg, who portrays Mike, to be a superhero akin to those from some Marvel Comics movies, as the actor will surprise them with his fighting skills just employing some Top Ramen and a harmless spoon! On the other hand, Stewart, who portrays Mike's girlfriend Phoebe, supports him all through his journey to protect him from CIA, who has been constantly tracking his moves.
According to the report, 'American Ultra' narrates the story of a scrawny, stoner man, Mike, who leads a quiet, small-town life with his girlfriend Phoebe. Interestingly, Mike is unaware of the fact that he is actually a highly skilled, lethal sleeper agent having special powers that have not been used. In fact, his powers are activated only when someone tries to cause him harm.
Subsequently, Mike is forced into a lethal government operation and uses his force, his hidden ninja powers, to save his girlfriend and to survive himself. This will be the second time that Stewart and Eisenberg are working together in a movie. Earlier, they starred in Greg Mottola's 'Adventureland' in 2009.
'American Ultra' also stars Connie Britton and Topher Grace, and is scheduled to hit theaters on Aug. 21.
