'American Idol' 2016 Recap: Top 14 Contestants Confirmed, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. As Judges
"American Idol" is one of the pioneer talent-search television show that honed the talent of Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia, among other winners. And now in its final season, we would like to present the top 14 candidates who made it to the competition.
Here are the Top 14 singers, as per Heavy report. First on the list is Avalon Young who grew up in San Diego, CA. She is a self-proclaimed "tomboy" and consistently updates her social media accounts. Second is Gianna Isabella, the daughter of Brenda K. Starr who is known for 1988 hit "I Still Believe." Isabella is said to have a powerful voice.
Next is Thomas Stringfellow, who is said to have been dumped by his girlfriend upon joining the show. Well, this 17-year old cutie could be the next big thing in the music industry so watch out for him. On the other hand, MacKenzie Bourg was a former contestant from "The Voice."
Another three contestants are Jeneve Rose Mitchell who plays the harp, Lee Jean, who is young and confident, and the daughter of jazz iconic saxophonist Warren Hill and producer Tamara Van Cleef, Olivia Rox.
U.S. based Austrian Jenn Blosil made it to the top 14 as well. Meanwhile, rocker and the quite eccentric performer Dalton Rapattoni also got the spot on the live show.
Additionally, a pastor's son and drummer Manny Torres is one of the finalists to join the reality contest. And then, Tristan McIntosh and Sonika Vaid are also included on the list as well. Lastly, a Mississippi farm boy with an R&B song style Trent Harmon and La Porsha Renae completes the slot.
