'American Horror Story' Season 6 News Update: Jessica Lange Confirms She's Not Returning To Upcoming Season?
In expectation of FX's upcoming "American Horror Story" season 6, it has been revealed that series actress Jessica Lange would not be returning to the show.
Lange herself confirmed that she would not be coming back to "American Horror Story" season 6. In an interview with "The Charlie Rose Show," as cited by Screen Rant, she said no to being part of the show's sixth season, adding that she thought sometimes one came to the end of something and it had had its natural course.
The "American Horror Story" actress also mentioned that she had had four years and four seasons with the series, revealing that each year had contained a marvelous character. She added that everything had changed from one year to another, which had made it very interesting to her.
While Lange confirmed that she was not returning to the show, it is assumed that her superb portrayal of her characters in the series will have a great impact in the show's future seasons.
Along with "American Horror Story," Lange is also known for her roles in Sydney Pollack's romantic comedy film "Tootsie," Martin Scorsese's crime thriller film "Cape Fear," Tim Burton's fantasy adventure film "Big Fish," and Michael Sucsy's romance drama "The Vow."
Except from Lange, it is rumored that "American Horror Story" season 6 will star Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, and Lady Gaga, according to Screen Crush.
"American Horror Story" season 6 set to air on the small screen this fall on FX.
