'American Horror Story' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Emma Roberts Returns; Next Season To Feature Children?
In addition to talks that "Scream Queens" star Emma Roberts is going to return in "American Horror Story" season 6 along with Lady Gaga, series writer and producer Ryan Murphy revealed that the sixth season installment is set to feature children.
In his interview with TV Line during the PaleyFest panel, Murphy mentioned that "American Horror Story" season 6 is set to integrate elements involving children into the series' story line.
According to Murphy, if one looked at horror types, the innocence of children, served as entryway into a realm was always very dramatic and satisfying. For the series co-creator, this element reminded them why "Children of the Corn" had had them sleeping with the lights on.
Murphy also mentioned that the interesting things about "American Horror Story" season 6 was they had been working on two concepts at the same time, which they had never done before. The series writer and producer did not divulge what the ideas were, saying that both things that they were writing had not winner yet and would have a different form.
For Murphy, they were thrilled about that and they would talk about it soon.
Previously, "Scream Queens" Roberts teased her potential return to "American Horror Story" season 6. In her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Roberts mentioned that she had not been able to take part of the series' season 5 due to conflicting schedules, leaving Lady Gaga make her debut.
According to Roberts, "Scream Queens" was shooting in Los Angeles and she would just have to walk over to the stage and force herself onto the show.
Along with the actress, "American Horror Story" season 6 also stars Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Matt Borner, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, and Denis O'Hare, among others.
"American Horror Story" season 6 is set to premiere in fall on Fox.
