'American Horror Story' New Cast News, Spoilers: Guest Star Neil Patrick Harris Appears in Episodes 11 & 12
'American Horror Story' fans are in for a treat as reports are claiming that actor Neil Patrick Harris appears in two episodes of the series' fourth season. The 'Gone Girl' actor plays a part in 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Episodes 11 and 12.
A report by Enstarz went ahead and broke the news about the actor's part in the popular FX horror series. However, they also made mention that Neil Patrick Harris considered his experience working on the set rather terrifying.
The star also took to Twitter to tell his fans that he finished filming for his part in 'AHS: Freak Show'.
Just finished filming my last scene for American Horror Story. I need to take a shower. Wash off all this horror.

In regards to the actor's character, Neil Patrick Harris will play the role of a "chameleon salesmen," which seems like a suitable character when considering the other strange personas that appear on the show.
A few months back, word about the 'How I Met Your Mother' actor's part in the series was brought up in an interview with 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' co-creator Ryan Murphy.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in October, Murphy said, "Yeah I spoke to Neil last week. He sort of had an idea of what he wanted to do, and I had an idea that he liked."
Adding, "So I'm going to call him next week. If I can make it work, it will be something that shoots at the end. He's very interested in the show and obviously Neil is a magician and likes all that magic stuff. So he's fascinated with that. We're trying to make it work. I'm optimistic."
Evidently, that phone call between Ryan Murphy and NPH went well as the actor is set to appear in the upcoming episodes of the FX hit series.
On that note, viewers of 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' can expect to see the actor in character when Episodes 11 and 12 air on January 7 and January 14, respectively.
