'American Horror Story: Hotel' Spoilers: Lady Gaga Glams it Up for 'AHS' Season 5

The fashion and style of Lady Gaga's character on American Horror Story: Hotel mirrors her real life image - flamboyant, showy and glam.

Gaga, 29, was spotted recently on the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Urban Light installation set of the hit show in all her glory in an enchanting pink caped gown, a sophisticated hairdo and spot-on makeup.

She was also wearing the famous but mysterious silver bejeweled glove on her left hand.

Co-star Kathy Bates gushes: "Was it Norma Desmond, Jean Harlow or Marilyn Monroe descending the staircase towards me in a shimmering silver gown? No, it was @ladygaga!"

The Born This Way singer plays Elizabeth/The Countess, the extremely wealthy owner of the creepy Hotel Cortez, and it seems like she's running the whole show, on-screen and off.

She's "consumed with art and fashion and people," and "her nefarious plan" is set to be revealed in the first episode.

Part of Elizabeth's plans involve a love triangle between herself, Donovan (Matt Bomer) and Tristan Duffy(Finn Wittrock). She will also shock and tantalize in a steamy romance with Angela Bassett's character Ramona Royale.

American Horror Story: Hotel is the fifth season of FX's horror anthology series American Horror Story. John Landgraf, network president, stated that the new season sees a "huge reinvention" in the series.

The season was partly inspired by Top Hat, the 1935 musical comedy. Other inspiration was drawn from actual downtown Los Angeles hotels with creepy reputations.

It will be darker than previous seasons, teases Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the series. Set to be one of the most captivating shows of the year, American Horror Story: Hotel premieres on October 7 on FX.
